Family owned for generations, Debi’s Restaurant offers cozy Southern cooking, a hidden gem featuring favorites like French Toast, Pancakes, Southern Grits, a hashbrown platter, and delicious omelets. Famous for a scene in Forrest Gump where Jennie was a waitress, this is a must-eat hidden gem! Check wait times and menu online. Open daily from 8 AM to 2:30 PM.

The Funky Brunch is one of my favorite family friendly breakfast spots where you have the option to cook your own pancakes on griddle style tables. And their pancakes are my favorite! But they do have many other delicious breakfast foods to choose from, including their Funky Bread!

Paula Deen’s The Lady & Sons $

This isn’t a personal favorite, but visitors seem to enjoy it! Family-style dinners or go for the regular dishes, including Southern Fried Chicken or BBQ Pulled Pork. Great for the whole family. Gift shop available.

Olympia Cafe $

Recognized as one of the best restaurants in the world and a staple to River Street, Olympia Cafe serves authentic Greek and Mediterranean dishes. A must-try!

Husk Savannah $$

The Cotton Exchange Tavern $

The Pirate’s House $

Takes reservations (recommended for dinner). A Savannah staple and tourist favorite! Filled with tons of history, once an Inn & Tavern in the 1700s and then a tearoom in the 1900s. Now a restaurant serving a variety of Southern-style foods. It's a touristy spot with history, food, and haunted stories for both children and adults! Kim’s favorite: Fried Shrimp Platter.
